Heather's Story
Life
After I graduated I stayed in Jacksonville. I quit dental assisting and started working for AT&T in Baymeadows for the Fedex project. I left there in 1995 to join the Navy. I went to bootcamp in Great Lakes Ill. I went straight from there to "RM A" school in San Diego, CA. What a blast! Mexico was fun too. Well what I remember of it any way. In May of '96 I went home on leave for a week. Then off to my first duty station in Chesapeake, VA. I met my husband there. after he got out in Nov '99. We had our daughter Kyrah in May '01 and then a son, Nickalus in Aug '03. Greg got a job in McClean, VA (right outside DC, 3 miles south of the CIA headquarters). So we moved to Ashburn, Va. Then we bought a house in Winchester, Va. Greg started work with a new company and now works from home. That about wraps it up in a nut shell. My parents lived in the same house that I lived in when I graduated high school. Then they moved to Roanoke, Va 3 months after we moved up here. My dad died in April 2006 and my mom actually moved back to Jacksonville. So I guess I will still be going back there to viist after all.
